Hello! My name is Robin Whiskers. I'm 13 years old and my birthday is February 12th. I live in Georgia with my parents in a home consisting of my four siblings (Kevin, Paul, James, and Nicole), one dog (Christmas), three cats (Cosmo, Phineas, and Mozzie), three hermit crabs (Brigadier, Lola, and Harley), eight land snails (Drifter, Rocky, Weekend, Moon, August, Jacob, Gemma, and Linus), and a leopard gecko (Simon). The dog is mine, and all of the hermit crabs and snails belong to me. I enjoy blogging, reading, writing novels, haiku, and poetry, and listening to Twenty One Pilots music. I also enjoy maintaining my role as a neighborhood pet-sitter dog walker, and dog bather!

I love Dachshunds, especially my Dachshund, who is my show dog. We brought him to his forever home with us in October of 2015. Due to his uncanny willingness to learn and natural obedience, I've taught Christmas several commands and tricks. I hope to get him his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, enter him in some obedience trials, and hopefully he can become a therapy dog one day. He is my furry child and best friend, and he brings lots of love and happiness to our family! I'll have you know, Christmas made me learn that Dachshunds are one of the best breeds out there. I hope to become more involved in pet rescue when I'm older (especially with the Pit Bull breed) and make a difference for animals. I also have a strong fondness for Bloodhounds, mostly because of their wrinkles, slobber, loud voice, and headstrong personality.

When I get older, I hope to breed show quality Bloodhounds for the conformation ring and name my kennel Slobber Hill Bloodhounds. I'll probably also keep a few Dachshunds as pets, in addition to Christmas, who will be my right hand man! He's still young, so he'll be around for a while. I hope my blog can help others, especially young people, learn that blogging can be a powerful tool and that caring for animals responsibly can effect the next generation.

I hope this little biography has helped you discover who I am!

  1. Hi, thanks for stopping by our blog! We love meeting new friends. We did try to look you up, but SHE's dumb sometimes. Thanks for leaving your address. Have you visited Sarge? He has Hermit Crab sisters, they (the crabby girls) usually blog on Mondays. Anyway, we've added you to our blogroll, so we can follow you.

    1. I'm so glad you're a part of Blogville, Molly! Before I came to my furever home, I shared an outdoor kennel at my breeder's house with two wirehaired doxies, and one of them was named Molly. I'm sure you're just as sweet and fun as she is!
