Welcome to Paw Province!

I created this blog on October 21st, 2014 with nothing but my passion of writing and pets. I knew I could mix them together to establish a place called Paw Province, a blog that would inspire people, teach people, and make people smile. Before long, Paw Province was created, and there was no turning back.

Sure, the blogging experience has been an interesting one. During the first year of Paw Province, I didn't know what I should post about and focus on with my blog. I would mostly use photos from the web and caption them, or sometimes I would share pet news stories. However, nobody ever read my blog, and I knew I wasn't happy with my blogging style. It wasn't something special of my own, but my attempts to make something special out of what already existed on the internet.

In October of 2015, I took home an adorable 2 year old Dachshund named Christmas, and I knew he would be the star of the show. I began writing about my own pets all the time, and eventually my blog became noticed. After an interview with Blogville's favorite Goldendoodles, Murphy and Stanley, the blog attracted some regular readers. I am still very grateful to Murphy and Stanley and their mom for sharing my blog with the pet blogging community, and after over a year of trying to be discovered, I finally achieved that goal.

Today Paw Province exists to share about the pet blogging community, to discover more about the pets we call our own, and to meet people and pets who we would have never met otherwise. I'm happy that Christmas has taken over the posts, even though he doesn't have a filter sometimes and he often rants about tree rats and Vacula. Blogville is a beautiful place, and I'm so happy to be a part of it.
