Christmas In July: Part 1

Hello, peeps! My mom's had a busy month. She helped at a summer camp, went to Florida, is still dealing with her sick Betta fish Scuba, and one of her snails also had a near-death experience and is still recovering. However, that doesn't mean she doesn't have time for ME and to help me out with the blog! Trust me, we will get things running again soon and get some more photos.

So, it's July. My name is Christmas. You know what means...CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

Because it's July, I will present to you the Dachshund National Anthem. I wrote it last year and posted it on 4th of July, but I forgot to this year. Here it is!

*to the tune of The Star Spangled Banner*

Oh, say, can you see, by the wiener dog's height
On the bone that he chewed as a dignified weenie
Whose bright eyes and small paws through the perilous bite
O'er the squirrels we watched, they were running and screaming
With his brave Dachshund stare, and his crate of a lair
All the peeps in the house knew the Dachshund was scheming
A problem to housebreak, courageous, and strong
O'er the land of the short and the home of the long

Have a great rest of your weekend!
