Scuba

I'm postponing the Summer Dance info until tomorrow, as I have something to ask of you.

My mom has had a Betta fish named Scuba since February, which I'm sure many of you know. Recently his beautiful, long fancy fins have been getting shorter and torn for no reason. It's called fin rot and happens a lot with Bettas who have such long fins. It doesn't hurt Scuba to have his fins like that, but the sickness does cause him to be generally inactive.

It's been getting a lot worse this week, even though my mom has spent so much on countless medications and has tried so many different things. She's trying a new water medication right now and is talking to some of the best Betta people around, but still, I ask that you pray for Scuba and that these new meds work quickly and effectively. He is so young, and deserves to live out a long and happy life.

Here is a photo of Scuba taken yesterday.

And here's Scuba in May (?) with his long, beautiful fins.

Regardless of what he looks like, my mom loves her Scoobs, but fin rot can be life-threatening if it gets too severe.

Please pray for Scuba's happiness and health!
