I Need Your Advice, Blogville...

I need your advice, my dear friends. You probably know that my mom knows a ton about dog training and behavior and is a pawsome dog trainer. I wouldn't be so well-behaved if she didn't train me so well!

(That's besides the fact dogs are actually the ones that train their humans...I'm being in paid in treats to pretend it's the other way around)

I love getting to share my thoughts and ideas with the world, along with my recent adventures and product reviews, but I think my mom needs a platform to share canine information, too...she used to be the only author on this blog before I came around, and she misses it. She also knows a lot more and is a better dog trainer/owner/handler since then.

Okay, I guess what I'm asking is what do you guys think of my mom doing a "Training Tuesday" every week to write an article on dog training?

If you think it's a great idea, comment some ideas of training articles my mom could write! She has a whole bunch of ideas, but as my mom says...give the readers what they want!

(From the momma) Yes I think a training tuesday would be great. Some simple behavior changes for things what we term bad behaviors, ways to add training to everyday life and so forth. We can always use tips that make life easier for other dog owners to change our lives and our pets lives for the better.

  8. I think "Training Tuesday" sounds like a great idea! I love reading dog training articles! I think the world needs all the dog training articles it can get. Maybe you can do dachshund specific training? You know, since it's a bit harder to teach a dachshund things (i.e. lie down, sit) because of their short legs. I have been wanting to post about training "lie down" but I just can't make myself sit down and do it. One of these days though ;)
