True Love: A Poem

No, this isn't some cheesy poem about a pretty lady dog. This is about my squeaky bone. I would show it to you, but obviously I won't let my mom close enough to get a picture of it. Yeah, it was one of    the many things she got me for my birthday (which was also Christmas day, which means I got a double whammy of gifts) but it still belongs to me now.

I have a special squeaky bone
Our love is real and true
The feeling's not so mutual
But on my bone I still will chew.

It was a gift from my human
I was turning three
I always have it in my mouth
And take it outside when I pee.

My bone is chewed quite often
Since the day we brought it home
Stitched in yellow on the front
The words "Begging 4 Bones".

One day that bone will be ripped up
Broken will be my heart
But it's okay cause 20 minutes away
Is a place I call Petsmart!
