Victims

Robin here! Today I'm proud to present you to my first photo series. I'm calling it Victims. It's a 12 part photo series portraying Betta fish at Petsmart that are victims of abuse. They are forced to live in dirty water and will likely be sold to an uneducated fish lover who will keep them in a small, cold fish bowl.

It's scary, but it's the truth. I'll be making the series it's own tab below my blog header, but for now I want to post the photo series for you all to take a look at.

Your photographs are really good Robin; the use of B&W adds to the sense of importance this topic has. Whilst I think life is greatly enhanced by having a pet of any species, I am also of the opinion that animals ought not to be available for general sale like this. Specialist and licensed breeder/sellers only. ... but then we have the problem of the 'slave' breeding by the unscrupulous. BIG topic and I love your passion for it!!! YAM xx

  2. Ghostwriter was appalled years ago when she found out a travelling carnival was giving away anole lizards as prizes to people who had no idea how to keep them. She was sure the anoles probably died within a week.
