Meet Muppet

Chris here!

I don't think you all have met Muppet, my mom's 4 year old cinnamon pearl whitefaced cockatiel. She lived at our house for a few years, but she wasn't getting the attention she deserved because the cats would always sit by her cage and stress her out. She was rarely handled because it was hard to find a time for my mom to spend time with her because of the dangers associated with cats and birds.

The peeps heard about someone who had a small aviary and was willing to take Muppet in. Muppet made herself at home with a bunch of other cockatiels and parakeets at the aviary. The people at the aviary also had a stable of horses and bred show quality Dachshunds. I'm one of those Dachshunds! If it wasn't for Muppet, my mom wouldn't have met me, taken me home, showed me, and known me.

I am grateful to Muppet, because without her, I wouldn't be part of my furever family!
