Impawtent Information!

Christmas here!

In case you've somehow avoided all the excitement, tomorrow is the election! Not the human one (well, that one too) but the Blogville election! Fellow candy date Arty and I, along with our running mates Oreo and Mabel, have prepared for the special day. In this post I'll tell you some things about me and my campaigns and sum up this campaign season for you, and I'll also tell you how to vote tomorrow! Don't worry, I'll have another post up tomorrow on how to vote, too.

First off, I want to say thank you to Oreo. In the first campaign week (which was in April), I decided to give him the opportunity to become my campaign manager, even though I didn't know him as well as I wanted to. Oreo accepted the position and did his job better than I ever imagined. Oreo and I visited a different part of the world every Friday as part of a world tour. We visited a lot of our Blogville pals! Later on when us candy dates were taking on running mates (in July) I decided Oreo would be great for the job. Sure enough, he was and he has been and I'm completely certain that he'll be a wonderful vice mayor if the election ends up that way.

I decided to list the most notable thing that has happened with Oreo and I this campaign season:

April: We kicked off the Around The World in 87 Days world tour!

May: We announced the upcoming Blogville Pawlympics!

June: I designed a candy date badge!

July: Campaign manager Oreo was promoted to veep! (I also hosted the Blogville Summer Dance)

August: Along with Arty and Mabel, we hosted the Pawlympics!

September: We visited our last tour destination, California, and recapped our entire tour experience!

October: The Lost In The Maze series began!

A bit about me: I'm a 2 year old red smooth miniature Dachshund living in Georgia with my humans! I love my "squeaker" (a plush green bone toy I picked out at Petsmart the day my mom brought me home) and my mom even likes to show me at dog shows! I love life and I'm very eager to please, obedient, intelligent, and I'm always thinking and learning.

About my candidacy: My campaign slogan is "Wag More, Bark Less". There's no need to bark at others when you can wag those tails! (Or if you're a cat, you can purr. If you're another animal, just change the slogan to what you'd like it to be!) If I become mayor, Oreo and I will make sure Blogville is a place where everyone has the opportunity to get involved somehow and make friends. Nobody will feel left out and there will always be a way to get yourself out there and have fun. Having fun and making friends will be mandatory...BOL!

Like I said, I'll have another post up about it tomorrow, the day you vote, but I'm just going to tell you how to vote in this post anyway! At 12:01 AM (EST) tomorrow, click HERE to head over to Zaphod's blog. He'll have a post up saying THE POLLS ARE OPEN and you can leave a comment on the post WITH THE NAME OF THE CANDY DATE you're voting for and YOUR BLOG ADDRESS. You have to be a citizen of Blogville and your blog has to be active (a post in the last three months) for your vote to count.

Tomorrow we'll have a post up saying the polls are open and directing you to Phod's blog, but reminders are impawtent!

Oreo and I have worked tirelessly to run our campaigns and look forward to ways we can make Blogville a better place. In order to do that, we need your votes! I still have some things to say I'm saving for tomorrow, but I'll just say one thing now...you, Blogville, is what keeps me going. And although you can't make a decision on the whole of Blogville, your vote matters, and it matters to us!

Please visit Oreo by clicking HERE...I know he has some fun stuff to share with you all!
