Congrats, Arty and Mabel!

The election results were in at about midnight, and my mom was watching to see if me or Arty would become the new mayor of Blogville. It was Arty! We decided to write this post to congratulate Arty and veep Mabel, who will start their reign as mayors in January!

I can be certain it was definitely a close race, but Arty is the mayor Blogville needs right now. When the next election swings around, you can trust that I'll be a candy date once more, but for now, let's all look forward to a fun year or two with Arty in the lead! Even though I'm not a candy date anymore, my supporters and readers always knew that through my campaigns, I always want what's best for Blogville, so that's why I chose to run for mayor.

And because Arty and Mabel received a bit more votes than I did, I know that that means they're what's best for Blogville right now, so inside, it feels like I won, too! Not as mayor, but as a friend of Arty and Mabel's and as a lover of Blogville! Arty and Mabel, please enjoy your new positions! Angel Lexi, we miss you so much and you're the heart and soul of this whole thing. And Oreo, thanks for being the best campaign manager/running mate a pup could ever ask for!

And for now, here is a picture of me being swarmed by adorable puppies at my breeder's house!
