Chris here with a poll for you all!
So, the question is...
Which one of these selections fits your relationship with your dog best?
You are your dog's mom or dad
You see your dog as your child, and you proudly call yourself your dog's mom or dad. Your dog might have his own room, you might blog about parenting him, you might get him cheeseburgers at McDonalds, he might have a social media account...of course all sorts of dog guardians can enjoy these things with their dog, those are things typically a dog mom or dad would do.
You are your dog's friend
You don't see yourself as your dog's owner or parent. You see yourself as your dog's friend, most likely his best friend. You always look out for your dog, you watch boy-and-his-dog movies with your pup on the weekends, and you tote him to the dog park whenever you can. After all, it's easy to make friends with a loving dog!
You are your dog's sibling
This will probably only ring a bell for people who are young or who have had their dog from a young age. Not only is your dog your friend, but you definitely see him as a brother or a sister. You get in all sorts of trouble together, you try to get your dog involved in any activity of yours that you can, and you proudly count your dog in when someone asks how many siblings you have.
You are your dog's owner
You try to be as responsible as possible when it comes to owning your dog. You might not let your dog up on the furniture and perhaps you're super strict about him not begging for food or even tasting table scraps. Some dog owners might not be that strict with their dogs, but they still don't think they have a relationship with their pup that can be compared to a relationship with a human. No matter what, they have a deep respect and affection for their pup.
Well, which one of these four outlooks on life with your pup suits you most? Leave a comment and let me know! Tomorrow I'll be sharing the results, and my mom will also chip in and tell you guys which one of these categories she fits in with most.
See you then!
