Campaigns With Christmas: Positive

Christmas speaking!

Today, after four long weeks without a Campaigns With Christmas post, I'm back to posting every Wednesday for my series! Because of the Pawlympics, I took a little break. Well, now that I'm back, I'll be happy to announce today's virtue I'll talking about, a virtue every candy date should have, is a positive outlook on life.

I know what it means of course to be positive, but for accuracy purposes, here's Google's definition of the word positive: constructive in intention or attitude.

Nobody wants to be with someone who lacks a positive attitude. Plus, for the person who isn't acting positive, their negativity effects themselves. Let's take a step back and pretend I become mayor of Blogville for a moment, shall we?

How can I use the power of being positive to my advantage if I become mayor? Well, being positive can link to being encouraging. If you're reassuring someone that they've got this in the bag (which is encouraging someone), you're obviously acting positive. You're looking beyond the problem and seeing what pawsomeness you can make out of it. If the odds are against you, being positive can help you stay strong and do what needs to be done.

As a candy date, I will hold my head high and keep a positive attitude. This isn't just an act to get people and pets to vote for me. This isn't an attitude that will be abandoned if I do become mayor. After all, then I'll have what I wanted, right? Why should I continue to act all positive? Well, this isn't an act. This is just me being me, a positive pooch! I think it's impawtent that I always stay positive for my humans, friends, readers, and for my own well being!

Chris' Care Tip #14: Even if your dog seems to be enjoying it, don't let him sit around at home all day, no matter his size or breed. Get outside! Have some fun! Go somewhere new and interesting!

  7. to think positive and to bring this feeling to others is very impawtant. if we have the "we can win" spirit we are much more sucessful than if we start something with a "I will lose anyway" mood :o)
