Really?

This is Christmas speaking!

My mom has been helping at a VBS summer camp this week, and one of the classes she helps in is an animal class.

Yesterday peeps brought in their pets, and this was one of them!

My mom brought in three of her snails (Drifter, Jacob, and Moon) and there were also chickens, a dog, and my mom's brother's leopard gecko.

Well, my mom held Einstein (the CREEPY snake) around her neck!

She was fascinated by the python, but when she showed me this picture I wasn't able to sleep for 87 hours.

I was creeped out enough when my mom held that little baby python at the pet store...now she's upgraded to taking pictures with these huge monsters! The snake's whole body didn't even get in the picture...it was huge.

She might love them, but I, for one, do not!

What do you guys think of snakes?

  1. Oh dear dawg Christmas...I bark at the snakes that are in our backyard! They freak me out! My Ma doesn't let me hurt them, of course, but she wouldn't want to hold one. Your mom is brave!

  4. We are quite happy for snakes to stay in their own spots - we have a couple of garter snakes that hang out in our yard during summer.

  7. We imagine a smaller doggie might be afraid of a big python. The python could make the little doggie it's next meal! But our humans are all science geeks and have kept lizards as pets. We doggies have never met any snakes, so we don't know how we feel about them.

  11. We stay away from snakes...and hope they stay away from us. In Australia, if you see a snake, you can be 99.99% sure it is venomous!
