This is Christmas speaking!

My mom has been helping at a VBS summer camp this week, and one of the classes she helps in is an animal class.

Yesterday peeps brought in their pets, and this was one of them!

My mom brought in three of her snails (Drifter, Jacob, and Moon) and there were also chickens, a dog, and my mom's brother's leopard gecko.

Well, my mom held Einstein (the CREEPY snake) around her neck!

She was fascinated by the python, but when she showed me this picture I wasn't able to sleep for 87 hours.

I was creeped out enough when my mom held that little baby python at the pet store...now she's upgraded to taking pictures with these huge monsters! The snake's whole body didn't even get in the picture...it was huge.

She might love them, but I, for one, do not!

What do you guys think of snakes?

  1. Oh dear dawg Christmas...I bark at the snakes that are in our backyard! They freak me out! My Ma doesn't let me hurt them, of course, but she wouldn't want to hold one. Your mom is brave!

  2. *SCREAMS* then runs from the room shouting "SNAKE"!!!!!

  7. We imagine a smaller doggie might be afraid of a big python. The python could make the little doggie it's next meal! But our humans are all science geeks and have kept lizards as pets. We doggies have never met any snakes, so we don't know how we feel about them.

  8. Oh I know you had fun teaching about animals Ms. Robin....
As for how I(we) feel about snakes...we never met a snake that we didn't run from as fast as lightning.
Hugs madi your bfff and mom

  9. Snakes are OK - in pictures! Mom actually took some pictures of a little snake along our fence not to long ago

  12. We think they are best left in the grass:) Your gal there is very brave!!!

    Woos - Ciara and Lightning

  13. We aren't too fond of snakes, but our Mama has always been intrigued by reptiles!!
    Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo

  14. We could live the REST of our LIVES without EVER seeing another Snake, Christmas... they are CREEPY fur SURE.
Congrats to your mom fur helping with VBS.

  15. Im with you Christmas. We say NO to snakes!!

  16. Christmas your mom is probably one of the super heros.... my mother would run like the wind for Einstein and his brothers and sisters :o) Even a harmlöess Blindworm in our backyard caused a lot of drama :o)
