Campaigns With Christmas: Personal

This is Christmas speaking!

Welcome back to my campaign series, folks! Bow wow, it's already been two weeks since my last Campaigns With Christmas post. That went quick! Last week my mom was in Florida, so I posted all of her fun Florida photos all last week. Today's topic to discuss is something every candy date should be...every good candy date is personal.

What do I mean by this?

Being personal means...well, I know what it means, but to get an exact definition let me Google it...

Aha! Here it is: of or concerning one's private life, relationships, and emotions rather than matters connected with one's public or professional career.

Basically that means even in a successful career and even if you're a big star and a big name in a community such as Blogville, your fans and others can still interact with you and learn more about you on a personal level. Even big wigs have emotions, relationships, and a need to be around others whom they can relate to and laugh with to stay sane.

So...how can I apply this to me if I become mayor? Let's pretend I do become mayor for a moment.

I can be the most well known pup in Blogville...I can become the most beloved dog among all the ladies...I can be a superstar within the community I love the most, I can give formal speeches, I can host events, parties, make announcements, and work in a pawlitical office 87 hours a week...but I can still be personal.

I can still have conversations with my all my pals...I can still respond to the emails and requests of my buddies within minutes or hours...I can still BOL with my friends and have time to take leisure walks with my momma...I can still slip my collar to get away from the neighbors' annoying 100 pound puppy and take the time to share quality time with family...I can still be a personal pet and friend instead of a big wig, even when I am in office.

What I want you to take from this is if I do become mayor, I'll still be the same lovable, accessible, feisty fella you all know and love.

  4. You make some excellent points Chris! Sometimes the media is all over the place and won't let a fella even phart if he is mayor. That's a lot of pressure!
