In order to get there, I decided to use my latest vehicle...a Lamborweenie!
We went to Walnut Street Bridge, the place our pal told us to meet her.
Then Lexi arrived with our food!
The three of us headed to a nearby aquarium. Lexi told us it's a really cool place, and though she was excited to check it out with us, she picked up a good scent and couldn't help but sniff a little!
Because we didn't have swimsuits handy, Oreo and I decided to wear some *coughs* different clothes. Lexi wasn't as wimpy as us and didn't need to dress up! The sharks were going to eat us, but then I told them that Lexi and I are both running for mayor of Blogville. They respected us the rest of the time and even asked about our campaigns. Can you spot Oreo, Lexi, and I in this picture?
I even had a shark interesting in voting for me in November! He decided to decorate himself to show his Christmas pride. Now I know that if I have to travel by water, I have a campaign shark to lend me a
Next we went to the Hunter Museum. We had fun exploring the exhibits!
Then we went to Rock City to do some hiking! Can you find all three of us?
Next Lexi got to take a ride in the Lamborweenie with us! We didn't have enough room, but Lexi didn't care. She says riding on the back is even more exciting!
We dropped Lexi off at her house to say goodbye. You might know that Lexi has been fighting cancer. Oreo and I wished her the best.
Usually Oreo and I spend the night in a Weiner Suites when we're traveling, but because Tennessee has more of a country living feel to it, we decided to sleep in a Weiner Cabin. It's a fancy dog house! I texted my mom (candy dates must have phones, even dog candy dates) to tell her Oreo and I were staying in our cabin. Unfortunately she said we can't have a campfire for obvious reasons. I told her that if the fire were to spread, I knew how to let it out (let's just say I like lifting my leg on things) but she said we can't anyway. Bummer!
We had a great time exploring Tennessee with our pal Lexi! We know she has the courage to get through this difficult time. Lexi, my mom will be sure to donate to your fundraiser soon and she'll be having a lemonade stand for you! You deserve it, girl. Best of luck to our favorite Schnauzer friend in this fight!
P.S. I'm hosting the Blogville Summer Dance! Click here for more info on how you can participate. Thanks!
What a grreat visit! I think a shark campaign billboard is about the coolest advertising ever!

Hi Chris! I was checking every day to see if you had posted all the fun we had. Hey, we look like part of the exhibit at the Hunter Museum. And can you believe I swim in the Tennessee River with all those big fish in there (not the sharks). Oreo, you were riding a Tennessee River gar fish. I am sure they will be asking me if I have seen you both lately. Although, Mom hasn't taken me out boating this year because my WBC is down from the chemo and she said the last place I need to be is in that dirty water. Anyhoo, thank you both for coming and taking me out to have a pawsome time in my own Chatt Town. :) Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteOMD OMD this is just a monumental visit with Lexi. We can NOT believe that you three SWAM with the FISHES... and then went to that ROCKY PLACE... We thought we were NEVER going to spot all three of you... butt we FINALLY did. WHEW!!
ReplyDeleteThat museum place is very much LOVELY and Interesting... with the three of you being Pawt of the exhibits.
WE are glad that you didn't have a campfire... those can be sort of dangerous... one could Singe one's FURS with a campfire. Just Sayin.
That was a fun visit! I always knew Lexi was tough, but riding on the trunk of the Lamborweenie is crazy-brave!

Love the Weiner Cabin - my boy Frankie asked me to your dance, and we'll be sending you our info tomorrow. Mom had some really long days at work this week and it was stressful so for tonight I think she's just going to curl up with a bottle of Nasti Spumonti (the cheap wine from the Polish grocers) and cuddle with Dad.
