Around The World in 87 Days: Pennsylvania

Hot diggity, welcome back to my world tour! This is Christmas speaking. This week my campaign manager Oreo and I headed to Pencil Vein Ya to meet a couple of fun dudes in Blogville. My mom is traveling (which is why she hasn't been your wonderful blogs!) so I'm glad I could have a getaway, too!

To get to Pencil Vein Ya, we drove a Volkswagen Beetle. I don't know why, but I think they're cool, and because I had 87 dollars to spare, we rented this one!

Once we got there, we waited at a park where our pals told us they would meet us.

When they arrived, we found out why they were late. It was for a bow wow good reason!

We reached Frankie and Ernie's home (they were sporting their tighty whities!) and they told us they would have to do some work while we were visiting, but that didn't matter. We'd still have fun!

Ernie showed us his sweet ride. This fun doxie dude makes everything an adventure!

Frankie showed us a very pawsome feature of the John Deere.

Even though Frankie is great at singing Bob Marley songs, I couldn't help but doze off a little! I'd rather take a nap than hear about three little birds.

Then I took a go at driving! I turned the radio back on, but I couldn't hear the music because Frankie wouldn't stop singing at the top of his lungs!

After all the work was done, we rewarded ourselves with a trip to the lake!

We all swam, and Oreo and I wore tighty whities of our own!

Then we played chase in Frankie and Ernie's backyard!

To finish the fun day off, we all went for a ride in the Volkswagen Beetle. It was pawsome! Because his ears kept flapping in the wind, Ernie decided to put his hair ears up. We all couldn't fit, so Ernie had to ride on the hood! He didn't seem to mind though.

We dropped Frankie and Ernie off at their house and said goodbye. Then Oreo and I located a nearby Weiner Suites to spend the night in!

I think I gained 87 pounds from all that kibble! Oreo enjoyed a huge cherry pie. Hopefully our moms won't notice how much we pigged out!

We had such a pawsome time visiting Frankie and Ernie. They're wonderful Dachshund dudes, and who would have known doing outside work could be so fun? We hope you join us next week on my tour...Oreo and I will be visiting Sarge and the crabby girls!

P.S. If you haven't checked it out already, click here for info on the Blogville Summer Dance! My mom and I are hosting it, and we already have plenty of fun couples coming! Well, there's one special dog going solo. Anyway, we hope you can attend!
