Debate Tuesday: You Asked, We Answered

Hi, everyone! Chris here, and today I'm super duper excited for this week's Debate Tuesday! You asked me and the other candy dates some pawsome questions...here are my answers! After this debate, we'll be taking a break for the summer, and 'cause this is the last debate for now, we decided just to post our answers on our own blog. You can check out Arty and Lexi's answers over at their blogs!

Just a reminder, the three candy dates for mayor this year are...

Christmas of Paw Province (that's me!)

1-Do you think we can publish some guidelines/rules/mandates on flashy beasts at naptime???

My mom isn't the type of person that uses a flashy beast. Well, yes, she uses them, but she doesn't make them flash, which is a good thing. She is a great doggy trainer, so training a flashy beast I suppose wasn't too much of a problem for her. However, for those with humans who do use beasts with their flash, I think privacy is a must.

2-Since you are vertically challenged (like me) we are wondering what your 'platform' of choice will be when you are at the podium?

Hmm...that's a great question. I'd say a cardboard box, 'cause if you get tired you can flip it over and sleep inside. And yes, sleeping in boxes is something I like to do!

3-What is your platform for Mayor?

If I understand the question correctly, I'd say a royal doggy throne with built in carrot dispensers.

4-Here is a three part question regarding kitty kats:

a.What are your opinion on cats? Friends, foes, or supreme masters??

I'm a bit curious about them, but I know that all of them are planning world domination, and it's the duty of the doggies to take over the world before they do.

b. Are you planning anything to get our hoomans to share more of their food? Specifically of da MEATZ variety, but really anything (eggcept for vegetables which I has heard some peeples ackshually eat).

The puppy dog eyes are a great method, but if you must, do something cute, like a random trick you know. One of my favorite commands is "spin around", so sometimes I do it on random occasions to get the momma to give me a treat. Works every time. Oh, and I actually like vegetables! I love carrots and apples the best, and they're good for doggies, too.

c. Do you support the idea of offishually changing Saturday to "Caturday?"

I think the cats should be able to call it whatever they like, but 'cause Arty, Lexi and I are not cats, we'll keep calling it Saturday, unless we find a better name for it that has to do with doggies.

5-What will you do to help ensure international residents feel part of the Blogville community?

There are many things I'll do to help make people feel welcome. When I first came to Blogville, I immediately felt like I was part of the family, and it was bow wow amazing. Blogville is a special place because we're so passionate here about people and their pets. I'll do my best to always leave comments on the blogs of others, and always have opportunities for others to get involved in some sort of fun way. If I become mayor, I'll come up with plenty of blog activities all the time so blogs can be discovered and new friends can be made.

That's all for now, folks! Bow wow, enjoy this beautiful day!

P.S. This blog background is only temporary (the sizing is awful!), and I'll get around to resizing it in the next few days!
