Interview With Lily & Edward of "Two French Bulldogs"

I'm sure you've seen two adorable French Bulldogs hanging around Blogville before, or maybe you're a fan of their simple, witty blog. If you know them or not, Lily and Edward are amazing bloggers and humorous canines! Today I have an interview to share with you that I did with Lily and Edward not too long ago. They are very interesting, and even if you know them pretty well, you still might learn a thing or two about these talented dogs in our interview!

When did you two start blogging?
We started blogging about 7 years ago.

What inspired you to start blogging?
Me and mommy started blogging because we thought it would be a fun place to meet doggie friends, share ideas and nutrition stuff.

Lily, how did you end up with your mommy?
Mommy said, "I always wanted a French Bulldog." So she searched and searched. She found me here in California. I was a runt and my sissy was fat so she picked me. Mommy said it was the best pick she ever made.

Edward, how did you end up with your mommy?
Well, Lily had a brother Benny that she lost to liver cancer in 2013. Since everyone was so sad, they waited a bit and kept checking and checking the French Bulldog Rescue Network's website. She saw me on there. My parents gave me and away after 5 years. I didn't understand why but things happen for a reason cause mommy and Lily found me. Mommy tells me every day I am in my forever and ever home.

Lily, how old are you?
I am 8. My birthday is May 21, 2007.

Edward, how old are you?
I am 7 and my birthday is November 4, 2007.

How many followers do you guys currently have?
On our blog we have 684 followers and on Facebook we have 7529.

What post of yours is your personal favorite?
I am not sure if I could answer this question. There are several pretty funny ones.

What post of yours is the fan favorite?
A very tough question. People did vote on Benny at McDonalds. If you go to our blog, click on "Favorite Post."

Lily, what is your favorite food, toy, or thing to do?
Oh my dawg! I adore going to the beach, running in the sand and through the water. Then I dig like 16 holes. I love cheese.

Edward, what is your favorite food, toy, or thing to do?
Every toy is my favorite. I love ALL food and treats. I adore car rides. When mom takes me for a walk, I try to get in every parked car.

What have you gained through your blogging experience?
We gained lots of blogger friends, good advice and ideas.

Lily and Edward's mommy...has blogging changed the way you see your dogs?
Yes, I am more aware of their wants and needs. Since blogger friends make great suggestions for nutrition, first aid and training I pay closer attention to my babies.

What makes the French Bulldog a special breed?
We volunteer for the French Bulldog Rescue Network and learned a lot more about the breed. They are hilarious, have great personalities, are called "frog dogs" and have unique features. However, they can be very expensive.

What effect does your blog have on it's readers?
We believe it has a positive effect. Many people ask us for suggestions in regards to the health of their Frenchie and nutrition.

What message do you hope to get across to your readers with your blog?
All my posts are our opinions. We want people to have fun and smile. Smiles are contagious so follow along.

Lily and Edward are very interesting dogs, aren't they?

Here are just a few pictures from their blog to sum up their Frenchie awesomeness!
