Flashback Friday

Today we're going to take a little flashback to the very awesome night I met Crusoe the celebrity Dachshund!

Crusoe may be a tiny Dachshund, but he is known for his incredible adventures and his bold personality.

If you don't know who Crusoe is, you've been living under a rock.

Or at least that's what he says on his blog.

But still, I'm serious. This dog is very popular.

I love his blog and his fun photography, so in October when Crusoe announced his tour dates for his new book, I was glad to know he would be having a book signing near me in the following month.

Sure enough, I waited two and a half hours in line to see Crusoe at the Barnes & Noble.

There were hundreds and hundreds of people there, eager to meet the tiny Dachshund, who was autographing (or pawtographing?) books and receiving lots of attention.

When I finally got to meet Crusoe, I was happy to pet him, give him a treat, and indulge in the fact that I had just met the internet's favorite Dachshund.

A photo of me with Crusoe was shared on his blog a few moths ago...click here to read it!

I even used the photo of Crusoe and I in my blog header.

Okay, I'll admit it, I'm Crusoe crazy!

  1. How exciting! We know Katie Perry, the Dachshund. She is a show pup back at our breeder/show-er's place. She was good at barking when she wasn't strutting it out in the ring. That's all I remember about her. Cammie might remember more.
