Onyx Needs Your Help

Woof! Woof! Hello! My name is Onyx and I'm a ten year old Siberian Husky in Cumming, Georgia. I'm super sweet and I love people. I'm just a spunky, happy guy! I wasn't always so happy though. Just recently, a mostly Husky rescue called the Releashed Rescue saved me. You see, I spent my entire life at the end of a chain. That's right...ten years! I was just so sad, and I didn't think I would ever get off that chain.

I was so happy when I was rescued, and I don't let my age slow me down! After living like that for my whole life, I knew that I had to have fun to make up for it! I never thought I would get to live like a normal dog. I get to eat crunchy kibble, drink fresh water, and go for walks. I've made doggy friends at the rescue and everyone thinks I'm the cutest pup!

However, I might not be in the best of health yet. The Releashed Rescue recently neutered me, but I do have some things that might be wrong with me, but before the rescue can even treat me for any medical issues, they need a whopping $400 to find out what's even going on with me. Some very nice people have already raised some money for me, but the rescue doesn't have enough money to help me yet. The Releashed relies solely on donations!

Even though I get a lot of attention in my foster home, I still want a furever family. I want to wake up in the morning and know that I'm finally home, and that I don't need to see that horrific chain again. I want to make memories with someone who can call my name kindly and call me their own. I just want to live like a normal dog, because that's what I am.

If you feel like I'm your boy, click here to fill out an adoption application! I promise I'll be a good dog! Oh, and if you'd like to donate to my medical fund, please click here. Even if you have just a little to give, that's okay. If everybody gives a little, nobody will have to give a lot. Oh, and you can click here to check out all the current adoptables at Releashed, and I'm one of them!

Below you can see a picture of me when I was on my FREEDOM RIDE! That means I didn't have to see that terrible chain again. All I can see now is a future where I'm the healthiest, happiest pup around and I have a furever family to spend my golden years with. You can make that future happen!

I hope you can help!
