National Hermit Crab Week: Workout Gone Wrong

Hey, y'all!

It's me, the one and only Mrs. Brigadier von Hermit (I just made that up now), with my sidekick, Lola.

Just Lola.

Anyway, thank you for attending our gym today.

This class is a great way for hermit crabs to get in that much needed exercise after eating too much seafood.

Okay, you caught me, but it's not my fault the pet store people sell dried shrimp for hermit crabs!

I pigged out this morning.

Anyway, there are many activities crabs can participate in here at our hermie gym, but today we'll work on a couple specific things.

Okay, y'all, it's time to stretch those hermie legs and do some yoga. Put on some relaxing music if that helps (I prefer heavy metal music) and take deep breaths. Imagine walking along the beach and eating seafood. Whatever makes you happy. Wait, maybe I shouldn't think about seafood. Now I want seafood. Give me a minute, I'm going to get some more of that dried shrimp over by the coconut hut. Be right back.

***PAW PROVINCE WILL RETURN SHORTLY***

So apparently Brigadier is too busy stuffing herself with...seafood, so instead I, Mrs. Lola von Beautiful, be enjoying our gym's pool. Swimming is a great way to stretch those legs and get exercise. I especially like swimming in this pool because it's also our saltwater bath.

That was a great workout! Well...maybe not for you guys. Sorry that we kind of got off track! Thanks so much for coming by today, and come back tomorrow for the very last day of National Hermit Crab Week! I have to go *sniff* find a tissue!

Hey! Where did everyone go?

  3. We crabby girls are a little unusual in that we really do not like to get wet. No, not at all. We have two glorious pools, but we like to perch on the edge and take a sip. No swimmie for us! Looks like you both adore a good workout routine. We do adore climbing alot.

    1. I, Miss Lola, am a huge water fan as you know, and Brigadier states that she could do without all the water...but of course she sips the water when she needs to!
