Interview With Frankie Furter Price & Ernie Von Schnitzel

Woof! Woof! Hello! It's me, Christmas. Usually my mommy, Robin, writes all the posts and does all the blog interviews and stuff and stuff, but today my mommy said that I could take over today and interview two of my Dachshund blogger friends, Frankie and Ernie! Oh, but I was so excited when mommy said yes to me about interviewing my Dachshund pals! I'm used to her saying yes...to my crunchy kibble, long walks, and belly rubs, but she says no to some things like eating all the dog treats in the house and going potty indoors...let's just say I'm not exactly housebroken yet, but my mommy says I'm getting real good at the whole housebreaking thing!

So, um, writing without opposable thumbs is kind of hard...but I eventually managed to interview my Dachshund friends and come up with this interview. Frankie and Ernie are very interesting pups and we Dachshunds gotta stick together! Any Dachshunds out there, do you know what I mean? So I asked Frankie and Ernie some general things about blogging and all that stuff but I also asked some questions only Dachshunds would understand...does being called a wiener dog or hot dog sound familiar? I am being dead serious when I tell you I've been called a furry hot dog!

Okay, so here are the questions I asked my Dachshund friends (who happen to have great Dachshund vocabulary, by the way), and I hope all you fans out there, even if you're something I'd like to chase like a tree rat, enjoy this interview and check out Frankie and Ernie's totally cool blog that'll make you say hot diggity hot dog!

What inspired you two to become Dachshund bloggers like me?

When I (Frankie Furter) was a young'un.... I Joined my MOM's Writer's Group.... and the Peeps that went there all accepted me into the Group.... We always had a Monthly Writing Assignment... and ONE MONTH... it was to start a BLOG.... Mom and I BOTH did the Assignment.... butt NOBUDDY Ever Read HERS... and I just kept going.... Then when Ernie came along .... HE Joined ME...

How long have you been blogging for?

I started MY blog... in October 2028 and just noticed that I have 2,700 POSTS...

What rescue, shelter, or breeder are you from?

I (Frankie Furter) was Born in Lancaster, Ohio... to a Long Line of SHOW DOGS.... Lots of Trophy's and stuffs... BUTT I did NOT grow big enough to meet Breed Standards.... so the peeps were willing to allow me to Come Live with MY MOM AND DAD. ERNIE was Born in West Virginia... to a Family Breeder.... they had only ever had 2 other Litters... and they were SUPER careful about the breeding...

How old are you guys?

I will be 10 years old in May.... that is like 70 in dawg years and ERNIE will be 5 in August.

How old were you guys when you were adopted?

I was 11 MONTHS old when I came to live with Mom and Dad Beclaws the peeps kept Waiting and hoping that I would GROW more... and could go on the SHOW CIRCUIT... ERNIE was 8 weeks Old when HE was Adopted...

Why did your human(s) choose the Dachshund over any other dogs? (Being a Dachshund, I know we're the best dogs ever, but our readers might not have experienced Dachshund awesomeness in their lives yet)

You asked WHY our peeps LOVE Dachshunds so much.... MANY MANY years ago.... some Furends of theirs had a Dachshund .... the FIRST they had EVER seen.... and they just FELL IN LOVE with OUR BREED...

Frankie....what's you're favorite food or toy?

I like STUFFIES... a LOT... I like Milkbones and CARROTS

Ernie....what's your favorite food or toy?

I will eat ANYTHINGY.... and my favorite toy ... My Squeaky Sticky Spikey Balls.... Round or Football style either one...

How has blogging improved your life?

Frankie got to be in a Community Theater PLAY.... once... and he had his story and picture in the Southeastern OHIO Letter Carrier's Newsletter once... We have met Furends ALL OVER THE WORLD... and we get our pictures taken A LOT.... and ONCE ERNIE learned how to Use the Computer.... we have BOTH impawved our Writing/Typering Skills about 87%...

What is the main point you want to get across to your readers!

HUMMMMMM that is a hard one.... in one word it would be FUN... BUTT there are lots of other thingys too.... like helping our furends when the need it... and Learning New stuffs...

What do you do if someone calls you a weenie dog instead of a Dachshund?

We never say anythingy... other than YES... we are DACHSHUNDS.... or BADGER HOUNDS.... We really don't care fur HOT DOG either... butt we Laugh at the thought.... of TUBE STEAKS being thought of as ...US !!! It makes us Laugh.

Do you plan to blog for the rest of your lives?

We HOPE SO.

Who has encouraged and inspired you in your blogging journey?

We would have to say.... that our READERS would be who keeps us going...

What is your favorite post on your blog?

OMD OMD..... we guess we would say.... When we put on our Court of Common Fleas Clothes and Judgey Wig... OR PAWhaps the ENTIRE SERIES for the Summer Olympics FOUR years ago...

What post of yours is the most popular?

We guess the BLOGVILLE SUMMER OLYMPICS SERIES.... there were some OUTSTANDING Events.... and it went on EVERY DAY of the "PEEP's" Olympics... from the Opening Ceremony to the Closing Ceremony... There were TWO events Every DAY...

What's your favorite thing about blogging?

TWO thingys.... Meeting new Furends... and making our readers LAUGH.

What do you think about....cats?

When I (F.F.) furst started to blog.... I BELIEVED EVERYTHINGY that I heard about CATS.... and then one day.... I discovered that MADI... was a CAT... and that is when I learned that you should NEVER JUDGE AN ANIMAL BY ITS FURS OR PURRS OR GROWLS.... I learned a VALUABLE LESSON THAT day... I didn't even KNOW that Madi was a CAT... she was my FUREND and a FUREND to so many OTHERS.... JUST THINK.... if I had Realized that Madi was a CAT... I might never have given her a chance to be my furend... I might have just BELIEVED all that silly stuffs and not looked at the REAL MADI...fur Who and What she is... that scares me to even think about.... the day Madi told me she was a CAT... opened my EYES and my MIND and my HEART... I learned to look INTO and NOT... AT... there May be some BAD cats out there somewhere... butt there are bad DAWGS too.... and Ernie and I refuse to lump ALL into a silly "MOULD"... Peeps call that stuffs.... DISCRIMINATION... and many peeps make a SQUIRREL of themselves by discriminating ... Speaking of SQUIRRELS.... not THOSE GUYS.... we don't like... they have EVIL hearts... Just sayin.

What are some of your guilty pleasures?

Ummmmmmm we sort of enjoy.... hogging the entire BED at night... and making our peeps feel guilty when they don't share Foodables with us... and sneaking in a few extra Naps each day... and .... giving our peeps 87 licks every day.

Has your blog changed the way your human(s) see you and treat you?

Since we all KNOW that PEEPS (humans) are SO strange... we really must say that, we don't really care much about what PEEPS/HUMANS think or how they treat us... We just let them PET us and Look at us and Talk to us... and then move on to the IMPAWTANT stuffs... Like what all goes on in BLOGVILLE... and in BLOGVILLE everybuddy treats EVERYBUDDY.... with Love and Respect. It would be grrrrrrreat if PEEPS did that, wouldn't it? THEY could learn a lot from US...

THANK YOU fur letting us Answer your Questions... We consider it an HONOR to have been Interviewed by you! And THAT is ... as we Dachshunds like to say... the LONG and the SHORT of it.

Sincerely. Frankie Furter and Ernest von Schnitzel

And the Dachshund bros are out! Do you guys think I did a good job interviewing them? It was lots of fun and you can click here to check out their blog! Oh, and Ernie, I love carrots, too! If I ever meet you in the furs, I'll even share my carrots with you! I don't share my carrots with anyone!

Well, that's all for today, folks...mommy looked this post over before I published it and she said I did a bow wow good job! She said that I can write my own posts on here more often...maybe a weekly diary? Time to make some plans! Below you can see some photos of my blogger friends Frankie and Ernie! Frankie is the black and tan longhair and Ernie is the red longhair.

Thanks for stopping by!
