Get Ready For Next Week

You heard what I said.

Get ready for next week!

Next week will be...

National Hermit Crab Week!

Courtesy of Paw Province, that is.

National Hermit Crab Week is not an actual national holiday week (it should be) but it's just a little thing Paw Province is providing you with.

A while back I introduced you to my adorable hermit crab girl named Brigadier, who is nothing short of charming.

You'll admit that she is adorable, even if you aren't a fan of little creatures like her.

She's super sweet and she is not afraid of anything, and she's never even pinched me before, which is rare among hermit crabs.

They pinch when they feel threatened, and this girl is never threatened.

Hermit crabs spend a lot of time under the sand or mulch or whatever substrate is used in their tank, so it's uncommon that I get good pictures of Brigadier.

I'm also considering adopting a new hermie, for the two hermies Brig used to live with died.

Well, one might be alive, but she's always been a real hermit, and this one (named Lola) isn't very friendly.

Those two crabs belonged to my siblings, and those crabbies weren't as friendly as Brigadier.

Well, Brig's been more lively lately and as spent most of her time on the surface where I can get good shots of her, so let the hermies return to Paw Province!

Monday starts a new week...a week of hermit crabs!

    3. Hello! It's me, Brigadier! It's a pleasure to meet you, Beacknut and Shelldon! You both have great names! My name means general, but I'm not very tough...I'm not afraid of anything, though! For National Hermit Crab Week on Paw Province, you'll be able to view photos of me living the sweet life in my crabitat, and new crab owners can learn all about hermies as well! POL! I can't wait!
