Frodo Has A Bath
Just yesterday, Frodo had a bath.
Katie did too, but I didn't get any pictures of her.
Frodo hates his baths, but he looks his best after he's washed up.
I know, I know, it's impossible for Frodo to be even more cute and handsome.
Well, when he's wearing his blue plaid bow tie, he's the king of cuteness.
Here he is sporting that Frodo cuteness after a weekend wash!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! By tomorrow, our new signatures will be revealed!

Someone's Got Tortitude
Yesterday, you may have been lucky enough to see our post about Marshmallow and Smores, two former cats at All About Cats.
The post centered around a photo of both kittens hanging out by sticking not only their little paws, but their ENTIRE legs, out of their cage.
Yes, it was pretty cute.
They were adopted pretty recently, but they're cuteness is still unbearable.
Well, here's a better look at Smores.
She's a cutie, and being a tortie, you know she has tortitude!
I mean, did you see yesterday's photo?
Definite tortitude.
Her companion Marshmallow isn't a tortoiseshell, but Smores taught her how to harness the tortitude.
Marshmallow quickly succeeded.
Smores, you've got tortitude.
I don't have a signature for the end of this post right now because I'm creating a fresh batch of signatures for every day of the week, as I'll be doing every month! More info tomorrow!

Just Hanging Out
These two kittens previously available at Petsmart, Marshmallow (left) and Smores (right) decided to hang out in the cutest way!
They're not just sticking one of their paws out of the cage, but they're sticking their cute furry legs out.
No wonder they were adopted!
They're so adorable!
Until next time.....

Max On The Move
This past couple of months, I've occasionally posted photos of Max, a German Shepherd I know.
Well, he's back again, and this time, he's on the move!
Here's Max prancing majestically, just like every GSD should! Have you seen these dogs run?
Until next time......

Our Little Hermie World
As you know, three lovely hermit crabs came into our family on Monday.
Penny belongs to my brother, Lola belongs to my sister, and Brigadier belongs to me.
Well, I just realized I probably haven't shown you guys their tank.
It's basically a beachy ecosystem, perfect for bouncy baby hermit crabs.
Trust me, they love to jumble about with one another.
Apparently they're nocturnal, but honestly they just seem more active at night.
They still play around during the day!
Perhaps it's because they're very young and full of energy, but it doesn't really matter.
So, here's their little world!
They have everything they need in their tank, and they also get plenty of time being handled out of their little world.
I hope you like our hermit crab tank!
One day our hermit crab were living at a pet store, hoping for that special someone to come by, and the next day they're in a loving home with loving owners. I hope all hermies get to have the day where they find their special someone!
The hermies love this plant, especially Lola!
Good night, everyone!
Until tomorrow....

Mozzie Lays Everywhere
This is the cutest thing ever!
Mozzie laying with Phineas!
Or perhaps it's Mozzie laying on top of Phineas.
Mozzie basically lays everywhere he can.
What a scamp!
You can get anything done with this cat.
If you take him outside with his harness and leash, he doesn't want to walk around or explore. He just flops down wherever he is and chills out.
Apparently, this has it's downsides.
When the house is dark and you're half-asleep, lumbering downstairs for a midnight, don't be surprised if you see a big lump of fur on the stairs.
Maybe Mozzie is just passive-aggressive, and he wants to trip us so cats can rule the world forever....
Hopefully Cosmo and Phineas aren't in on his little scheme!

Brigadier Settles In
Usually when you get a new hermit crab, or any pet in general, you let it settle in and become more confident with their surroundings before you handle the animal and start doing things with it.
However, that isn't the case with Brigadier.
If you read yesterday's post, you'll know I just adopted Brigadier, a baby hermit crab.
I knew that it probably be best to wait a few days before handling her.
However, I just started handling her last night.
She's basically all settled in.
She climbs all over my hand and she can't sit still!
She plays with my siblings' baby hermits, Penny and Lola, all the time.
After all, the reason I chose her was because she immediately came out of her shell to meet me and she was probably the bravest there at the pet store.
Though I didn't care how old the crab I would adopt was, I decided on baby Brigadier because I can raise her into a social, mature crab, she'll live a long time, and because I can watch her grow and molt into a large crab.
As you can tell, Brigadier suits her name well.
She's brave and ready for anything!
More Brigadier coming tomorrow!

My New Pet
Hello, guys!
Guess what?
Today (Monday, September 21st) I adopted my very own pet!
I went to pick out the right individual yesterday at Petsmart, and Brigadier ended up coming home with me today. It was love at first sight for both of us.
So, I bet you're wondering what type of pet she is.
In fact, Brigadier is sitting with me as I write this!
Friends, this is Brigadier.
Brigadier is a baby hermit crab.
Adorable, huh?
When I went to Petsmart yesterday to claim the perfect crab, Brig was the first crab I picked up, and I knew I didn't need to check out any other crabs there.
Brigadier was perfect.
She's brave, smart, and social.
She was just brought home a few hours ago, and she already is settled in to her new home with my younger siblings' two baby hermit crabs, Penny and Lola.
She climbs all over my hands and she can't sit still for a picture!
That's why I was lightly holding her shell in the air...if I didn't, she would be out of sight!
Yes, crabs are very fast.
Ugh, now Brig is trying to climb up the keyboard, but she keeps gently sliding off.
Come back tomorrow for more fun!

The Beautiful Cali Mom
For a LONG time, this cat, whose name is Cali Mom, was available for adoption at my local Petsmart.
I was glad, for she deserved a home, even though she hissed and scratched at anyone who came her way.
Yes, she was very skittish and mean, but she still deserved a home.
Plus, she is a beauty!
Who could resist Cali's lovable calico face?
You've probably seen her on here before, maybe once or twice.
She had kittens, but they were quickly adopted.
She was adopted about a month and a half ago.

Don't get too close though!

Shadow's Paws
I've been posting a lot about the dogs next door lately, Sophie and Shadow.
I've been caring for them often lately, so I've had many photos to share with you.
Here is another good one.
Both dogs are photogenic, and Shadow even calmed down so I could snap this shot of his cute little paws!
Trust me, that's huge, for he's always very energetic and bouncy.
I don't know why, but I love posting photos of paws!
I'll post again later!
Until later....

A Simple Cat's Dream
Here's Phineas sleeping the day away.
Okay, this photo was taken probably about two months ago, but it's still cute!
He had dreams of sparkle balls and feather wands.
Okay, this photo was taken probably about two months ago, but it's still cute!
Phin was probably dreaming of Friskies cat treats and his Science Diet kibble.
He had dreams of sparkle balls and feather wands.
He longs for the day that Frodo won't chase him hours on end.
That day won't be any time soon.
Enjoy your dreams while they last, Phineas!
Until tomorrow.....

My Experience At The Chattanooga Kennel Club Dog Show
On Saturday, I went to the Chattanooga Kennel Club Dog Show...it was the first dog show I have ever been to!
I've watched many dog shows (Westminster, National Dog Show, Crufts, Eukanuba, etc.) but I had never went to watch one before.
I saw so many breeds when I was there....seriously, a lot of breeds.
I photographed just a few of them, but it's better than nothing!
I hope you enjoy the pictures!
Swagger is a beautiful English Setter. He was one of two English Setters competing this weekend, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did better than the other one!
I'm not sure what his or her name is, but this Great Pyrenees caught my eye!
This buff Cocker Spaniel happily greeted me from his or her kennel! However, he or she couldn't sit still for a photo!
This adorable pair of droopy-eyed Boxers didn't want me to get a clear picture, either.
A Basset Hound enters the ring!
Up close, you can get a taste of his or her undeniable cuteness.
Rare and majestic, the Tibetan Mastiffs are rocking the ring!
The most common breed at the show was the Australian Terrier.
This is probably one of the cutest dogs I met at the show....look at his pitiful Mastiff eyes!
A Cocker Spaniel tried to hide from the camera!
The Basset Hound I showed you a minute ago was determined for me to get a blurry photo...he served his job well.
Finally, a dog that can pose a little better! Here's Bodie, an English Springer Spaniel!
It's a battle of the Borzois!
This Brittany wanted all the attention!
What an adorable Boxer!
I can say the same with this Boxer, too!
The black and rust Doberman Pinscher was fast asleep, but the brown and rust one was happy to raise his head for a nice picture. I love brown and rust Dobermans!
An Australian Terrier resting after doing well in the ring.
This gorgeous white Borzoi obediently performs in the ring.
A handsome Border Collie patiently waits to perform...did you notice the pretty Australian Shepherd behind the Border Collie?
This Black and Tan Coonhound has a perfect gait.
Isn't this harlequin Great Dane huge?
A beautiful Bichon Frise was happy to be groomed!
Look at all that fluff!
A pair of Basenjis prepare for the ring!
This regal American Hairless Terrier's name is Bragg.
This is me with Molly, a miniature Wirehaired Dachshund!
Well, I had a great time in Chattanooga!
I hope you all got a taste of how awesome it was from this very special post!
